Designer Crafts Summer Exhibition 12th July to 21st July 2018

It is 130 Years since the Society’s very first exhibition, (then as the Arts and Crafts Exhibition Society), which took place in 1888 at the New Gallery, Regent Street, London.

The aims and objectives of the Society remain the same today and we are proud to say that exhibiting the work of our members remains one of our main objectives.

Within the exhibition you will see work of fine, hand-made and skilled craftsmanship of a selected group of Fellows, Members and Licentiates in a variety of crafts such as ceramics, glass, metal, furniture, jewellery, metalwork, wood, textiles, book arts and mixed media. We are also pleased to have a small number of selected New Licentiates, (recent graduates), who are an important part of the Society’s continued development and whose fresh new ideas we welcome.

The exhibition is in two parts across two galleries, the main showcase exhibition and our now famous ‘Shop within the Show’ which is where Claudia's ceramics are to be found.

As always there is something for everyone, whether thought-provoking, simply to enjoy and admire, or to take home to cherish.
